Remember what God has done

A private prayer journal. You’ll be able to mark prayers answered, look back and export everything.

How it will work

A few quiet minutes a day

  1. Bring what’s on your heart

A question, a hope or a thank-you, in your own words. Or simply open the morning devotional.

  2. Read what Scripture says

Psalmside will answer with passages from the Bible and show every reference, so you can read them in context, in your own Bible.

  3. Pray and write it down

Pray along with a short guided prayer, keep it in your journal and mark it answered later. A gentle streak helps you come back; a missed day is not a failure.

Grounded in Scripture

Scripture first. Honest about its limits.

Psalmside is designed around one rule: the Bible’s words are never invented.

Questions

Honest answers

Is Psalmside available yet?

No. Psalmside is in development, and we are measuring interest before we build it. Joining the waitlist is free and nothing is charged. We’ll email you when there’s something to try. If we decide not to build Psalmside, we’ll tell you and delete your email address.

Will there be an Android version?

Not at first. Psalmside is planned for iPhone only. If you use Android, you can still join the waitlist and tell us by replying to the confirmation email.

Why pay when Bible apps are free?

Reading the Bible in Psalmside is planned to stay free. The subscription is planned to cover the guided prayers, daily devotional and Scripture answers, which cost money to run. There will be no ads, and your journal will never be sold.

Who is making Psalmside?

Psalmside is a project of a small independent developer based in Germany. It’s for English-speaking users in the US. Our contact details and legal information are in the imprint.

Can an AI get the Bible wrong?

General chatbots can misquote Scripture or invent verses. Psalmside is designed so verse text will be looked up from a fixed Bible text, never generated, and every reference is listed so you can open it in your own Bible. The AI can still choose a verse that isn’t helpful, so please check it, and take big questions to your pastor.

What will the AI do, and what is written by people?

Psalmside will use AI to choose Bible passages. AI may also write or read aloud parts of the short explanations, guided prayers and devotionals. Verse text will never be written by AI; it will come word for word from the World English Bible. The app will clearly label what is written or voiced by AI.

Will it replace my church? Whose theology is it?

It isn’t meant to replace your church. Psalmside is planned for the moments in between, and to point you back to Scripture, prayer and your church family. It will be Scripture-first and not tied to one denomination; where traditions differ, it is designed to say so. Quotes will come from the World English Bible, and every reference works in the translation you already use.

Who can read what I write?

In the app, the plan is a private journal with no ad tracking. Your entries will never be sold or used for ads, and you can export or delete them anytime. On this page, if you join the waitlist we store your email address, the plan you picked, which version of this page you saw and whether you visited on an iPhone, with our email provider. Meta’s ad pixel only loads if you accept it. Details are in our privacy policy.

Is Psalmside therapy or a sleep aid?

No. Psalmside is for prayer and Scripture. It does not diagnose or treat anything, including worry or sleeplessness. If those won’t let go, please talk to a doctor or counselor. Psalmside is not a crisis service and cannot provide care. If you are in danger, call 988 or text 988 (US) or call 911.
